Police form in Morocco: what it is for
Definition : The police form (individual accommodation form, or fiche de police) is the document that records the identity of a guest staying at an accommodation business.
The police form, also called the individual form or individual accommodation bulletin, is the document on which a business records the identity of each guest it hosts. Hotels, riads and guesthouses know it well: it is a fixed step of every arrival.
Filled in by hand, it takes time just when the team is busiest. It is one of the first things a good PMS simplifies.
What does a police form contain?
The exact model is set by the administration. Generally it holds the guest’s identity, nationality, ID document reference, stay dates and the business’s details. Decree No. 2.15.865 of 2016, which organises the electronic declaration, does provide for a model of individual accommodation bulletin.
The general framework in Morocco

Common mistakes
- Filling in the form at arrival, under pressure, with an unreadable ID copy
- Retyping by hand details the guest has already given
- Forgetting an adult travelling with the main guest
- Keeping ID photos with no deletion rule
